Hello fello zone members. I have a problem. I need to know how to fix this problem. When I try to uninstal a program such as ad-aware, it gives me an error saying "error dialog
can not find uninstal.log file
ok button."
What do I do? It's not that I want to unistal ad-aware, but it's a couple of programs I have that I want to get rid of! If someone could be gracious enough to help, that would be very very great! So, anyway, later.

John.

John, sadly I have had this happen and have no idea on what causes this. I believe it has to do with the install log. Usually in this case I simply delete the program folder and then the folder in the startmenu containing the icons for the program. The problem comes in with the registry. Windows puts pieces of programs everyware and it is hard to completely manually uninstall them. You might try a software called CCleaner from www.ccleaner.com. I use it and it's excellent. Heard about it from some other zoners on this board. Fantastic program.

Don't know if it matters, but are you going through the add/remove dialog to do this? It might not be as picky.

Try what Willy just said, I've tried that, and it works. Its happened with me a couple of times too. I wonder were you can find the uninstall log?
